Head Coach Josh Lee and the McMurry War Hawks hosted the University of Dallas Crusaders at Walt Driggers.

The game started out with Cooper Marshall (Boerne, TX) on the mound. Where the crusaders were able to jump out to a quick 4-0 lead. To lead off the second inning Josh Mueller (Stamford, TX) was able hit a double to center field. He was able to advance to third on a fly out to Center field by Dylan Abbott (San Angelo, TX). Carson Jones (San Antonio, TX) was able to double to right field driving in Mueller to cut the deficit to 4-1.

The War Hawks gave up another run in the top of the 5^th inning bringing the score 5-1. Tatum Black led off the bottom of the 5^th inning with a walk. Followed by Koy Carpenter with a walk. Tatum was able to steal third. Where he was able to advance home on a balk bringing the score to 5-2. Riley Hood was able to was able to reach first on an error by the second baseman scoring Carpenter.

The game moved into the bottom of the 7^th where the Koy Carpenter (La Vernia, TX) was able to lead off with a single to third. He was able to steal second. Where Riley Hood (Abilene, TX) was able to single to center field scoring Carpenter. Followed by Tanner Hollis singling to right field moving Hood to third. Josh Dyer (Albany, TX) came into pinch hit for Jeremiah Enriquez. Where he was able to hit a three run home run scoring Hollis and Hood. Giving the War Hawks a 7-5 lead.

Jackson Wininger (Plano, TX) came on to pitch for Chris Teten (Dublin, TX). Where he gave up two runs tying the game up. Jonathin Enriquez (Galveston, TX) came in to pitch for Dalton Enberg. The Crusaders were able to jump out to a 8-7 lead in the top of the 9^th. Josh Dyer was able to walk to lead off the 9^th. Where Josh Mueller sacrificed bunted advancing Dyer to second. Dyer Stole third. Where Carson Jones was ablet to single to Short stop tying the ball game for the War Hawks. Sending the game into extra innings.

Jonathon Enriquez was able to shut down the Crusaders in the top of the 10^th

Koy Carpenter walked to lead off for the War Hawks. Riley Hood grounded out to advance Carpenter to second. Where Tanner Hollis was able to come up and hit a Huge two run homerun giving the War Hawks the 10-8 victory in extra innings.

The War Hawks move to 13-13 on the season 7-8 in the American Southwest Conference. Host the Sul Ross Lobos to a three-game series April 5^th at 7:00Pm, April 6^th at 1:00 PM and 4:00 pm.
