ABILENE – McMurry Women's Basketball plays its last two pre-Christmas games this week in Belton at the UMHB Classic.
The War Hawks take on East Texas Baptist at 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Mary Hardin-Baylor at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Coming In: McMurry is 3-1 on the season after a 65-49 win over Howard Payne on Friday,
Board Work: McMurry leads the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and is fifth in NCAA Division III with 33.3 defensive rebounds per game. The War Hawks also are first in the SCAC and 20
th nationally with a rebound margin of 10.8.
Aryana Cleveland leads the team with 7.5 rebounds per game, followed by
Emily Holland at 6.8 and
Helana Chadwick at 6.5. All three are in the SCAC top 10 with 5.5 defensive rebounds per game.
Big D: The War Hawks are first among SCAC teams, allowing 55.3 points per game. The defense, previously stated, is strong on the defensive glass and they get their opportunities by holding opponents to 32.5 percent shooting from the field. That mark leads the conference and is 43
rd in the nation.
Accuracy on Offense: McMurry is first in the SCAC and 19
th nationally with its 45.3 percent field goal shooting this season. That's particularly strong considering the team also leads the league with 7.5 three-pointers made per game.
Kylie Flippin leads the team at 47.1 percent from the field. She's also third in the conference with her 40 percent shooting and 2.5 three-pointers per game.
Jordan Bravo is fourth in the SCAC with her 37.5 percent shooting from the perimeter.
Scoring It: Flippin leads the War Hawks at 18 points per game, followed by Holland at 11.3 and
Ashton Garner at 10.0 points per game.
Scouting ETBU: East Texas Baptist is 8-1 this season and has won its last five games, including a 70-46 victory over St. Thomas last week. Madison Horton and Payton Hicks leads the Tigers at 12.8 and 11.9 points per game, respectively,
Scouting UMHB: The Crusaders are 7-2 on the season after a 64-49 win at Whitworth. Josie Bruder leads the Cru at 12.8 points, followed by Adyson James at 10.8 Jaycie Brisco averages a double-double with 10.1 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
