GEORGETOWN – Southwestern rallied for two goals in the last six minutes to take a 2-1 win over McMurry on Sunday.

The War Hawks were held to three shots on the afternoon but
Anthony Licea delivered a 1-0 McMurry lead in the 44
th minute, using an assist by
Carter Thao.

Pedro Yanez also had a shot on goal.

Brandon Walker had 10 saves for the War Hawks.

McMurry finishes the season at 4-13-1.

For seniors
Trey Castillo,
Danny Chavez,
Herbie Martinez and
Preston Stal, the match was the last of their college careers.

"We challenged this year's seniors to change the culture and the standards in which this program operates," said McMurry head coach
Charles Nobles. "I feel like all season we got hit with adversity after adversity but they kept fighting and fighting. We couldn't be more proud of them. They changed the future for the better for the next groups of players."
