IRVING – McMurry's impressive return from a two-win season a year ago ended in the quarterfinals of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament at the hands of Southwestern, 3-0.
 
The War Hawks fell, 25-16, 25-22, 25-19. The setback ends the McMurry season at 14-15.
 
Addyson Tiffin and Kendra Humphries led the War Hawks with six kills each while Ashlyn Quillan led with nine assists.
 
Tiffin, Rylie Patterson and Jennika Willis were each part of three blocks. Hannah Page led the team with 13 digs.
 
It was the final match in the careers of Jacee Dinkins, Quillan, Page, Willis and Tiffin.
