ABILENE – McMurry Volleyball has a full week ahead with four home matches over Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
 
The War Hawks host Hardin-Simmons on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and begins the SCAC Crossover with a match against Texas Lutheran at 6 p.m. on Friday.
 
McMurry continues in the crossover on Saturday, taking on Concordia at 1 p.m. and Schreiner at 7 p.m.
 
McMurry Storylines
 
Off a Win: The War Hawks are coming off a 3-0 win at the University of Dallas, which made McMurry 7-7 overall and 2-3 in the SCAC. McMurry is fourth in the SCAC's Blue Division, trailing Austin College (5-0), Colorado College (4-1) and St. Thomas (4-2).
 
Aces and Digs: Hannah Page leads the SCAC with 0.56 aces per set. Page has 27 aces on the season. Page also is second in the league with 5.40 digs per set. She's fifth in the conference with 129 total digs.
 
Triples: Carli Colbert has a pair of triple-doubles this season and is sixth nationally in that category. She is the only SCAC player with two triple-doubles this season. Those two triple-doubles came against Wisconsin-Superior and Millsaps.
 
Kill Kill Kill Kill: McMurry has four players averaging more than 1.8 kills per set, led by Jacee Dinkins at 2.30. Jennika Willis averages 1.93, Addyson Tiffin is at 1.91 and Colbert checks in at 1.85.
 
Building Blocks: Rylie Patterson (0.84) and Tiffin (0.72) give McMurry 1.56 blocks per set and lead the team on the front line defense.
 
About HSU: Hardin-Simmons is 10-5 overall after sweeping LeTourneau at home on Saturday. Liz Underwood leads the team with 3.32 kills and Gabby Jones has a .323 attack percentage to go with 31 aces. Jadyn Hernandez averages 1.14 blocks per set.
 
About TLU: Texas Lutheran is 10-5 overall and 3-1 in the SCAC after a 3-0 win over Huston-Tillotson on Wednesday. Brylie Nedd leads the Bulldogs with 3.44 kills per set. Faith Coldeway leads the SCAC with 5.65 digs per set.
 
About Concordia: Concordia is 5-9 overall and 0-3 in the league coming off a 3-1 loss at Southwestern. Brooklynne Fitzgerald leads the team with 3.36 kills per set and 19 aces. Gabrielle Eads averaged 3.57 digs.
 
About Schreiner: SU is 4-8 overall and 0-5 in the SCAC after a 3-2 loss against Southwestern. Gianna Hilliard leads the team with 2.60 kills per set. Jenna Palomarez averages 4.49 digs.
