ABILENE – McMurry Volleyball plays two Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference road matches this week, visiting Austin College at 7 p.m. on Thursday and Centenary at 5 p.m. on Friday.
 
The War Hawks could secure a SCAC postseason spot this week, heading into the trip at 11-11 overall and 6-5 in the conference.
 
McMurry Storylines
 
Step Up: The War Hawks look to avenge a previous loss at home to Austin College and get the season sweep with a win at Centenary. The Kangaroos defeated McMurry in four sets last month and the War Hawks swept Centenary in the earlier meeting in Kimbrell Arena.
 
Block Party: Addyson Tiffin has come on strong and averages 0.82 blocks per set with Rylie Page checking in at 0.78 blocks per set to give the War Hawks a strong defensive presence at the net.
 
DIggity: Hannah Page is sixth in the SCAC with 4.74 digs per set this season. She has 370 on the season.
 
Killing It: Jacee Dinkins leads the War Hawks at 2.16 kills per set with Jennika Willis not far behind at 1.93. Setting those two up have been Carli Colbert (4.32 assists per game) and Ashlynn Quillan (3.52 apg).
 
Ace Leader: Hannah Page leads the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with 0.51 aces per set this season. She has 38 on the year.
 
About Austin College: Austin College is 15-10 overall and 7-3 in the SCAC with a non-conference game at Texas-Dallas coming on Tuesday. TJ Folse leads the team with 2.53 kills per game. Rita Araya averages 1.04 blocks per set and Lanie Kovacs leads the team with 5.26 digs per set.
 
About Centenary: Centenary is 1-19 overall and 0-11 in the SCAC with matches Tuesday against East Texas Baptist and LeTourneau looming. The Ladies have lost nine in a row without taking a set in that slump. Alyssa Gatlin leads CC with 1.87 kills per set.
