ABILENE – McMurry scored three first-half goals but dropped a 5-3 decision to Austin College on Sunday.
 
Arik Phillips scored in the second minute for a 1-0 McMurry lead, but the Kangaroos scored twice over the next four minutes for a 2-1 lead.
 
Dylan Christian found the net to tie the game at 2-2 in the seventh minute of the frantic first half.
 
Austin College had two more goals before the end of the 20^th minute for a 4-2 lead.
 
Trey Castillo scored in the 38^th minute to make it a 4-3 game.
 
McMurry wraps up the season next week with road games at Texas Lutheran at 5 p.m. on Friday and Southwestern at noon on Sunday.
