ABILENE – McMurry overcame a two-goal deficit to pick up a 3-2 win over the University of Dallas on Friday.

Emily Holland scored her 10
th and 11
th goals in the game and assisted on another.

"It's never easy when you go down two goals early but our girls continued to play and go at them," said McM head coach
Charles Nobles. "Their goalkeeper was incredible tonight so to score three against someone who is playing that well is a testament to our girls' relentlessness. Now we need to recover because we have another tough test on Sunday."

Kara McSweeney put Dallas ahead 2-0 with goals in the 11
th and 17
th minutes.

Holland got the War Hawks on the scoreboard with a goal in the 35
th minute with an assist from
Emery Kirby.

Laila Brown got the equalizer with an assist from Holland in the 50
th minute.

Holland got the game-winner in the 72
nd minute.

The War Hawks improved to 5-1-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference to remain tied for third with Concordia. McMurry has won four consecutive games and is 5-0-1 over the last six contests.

McMurry plays its final home game at noon on Sunday, taking on Austin College.
