ABILENE – McMurry Volleyball has a busy week ahead with three matches, including two SCAC contests over the weekend.

The War Hawks, 10-9 overall and 5-4 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, play a non-conference game against Howard Payne at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, and 1 p.m. conference games on Saturday and Sunday against Colorado College and St. Thomas.

The Streak: McMurry has won its last three conference matches to move into third the SCAC's Blue Division at 5-4. That streak includes Concordia, Schreiner and Dallas.

Chance to Move Up: The matches this weekend represent a chance for McMurry to move up. Colorado College leads the Blue Division at 7-2. McMurry is third at 5-4 and St. Thomas is fourth at 4-5.

Digs and Aces: Hannah Page leads the SCAC with 0.55 aces per set this season and has 38 on the year. She's also fifth in the league with 4.78 digs per set and seventh with 338 total digs.

Blocks Up: Addyson Tiffin has come on strong recently and has 59 blocks on the season. She is seventh in the SCAC in total blocks and in blocks per set at 0.87.

Tri-Dub: Setter
Carli Colbert has triple-doubles against Wisconsin-Superior and Millsaps this season. Those two triple-doubles have her in first in the league and ninth nationally in that category.

Kills: Jacee Dinkins leads the team with 2.27 kills per set this season.
Jennika Willis is second at 1.90.
Addyson Tiffin is third at 1.79 and leads the team with a .243 attack percentage.

About Howard Payne: The Yellow Jackets are 9-9 this season. McMurry has won 31 of the last 39 meetings but HPU won all three matches the teams played last season. Tara Bennett leads the Jackets with a 2.95 kills per set average and 36 aces.

About Colorado College: McMurry lost in Colorado Springs 3-0 earlier this season. The Tigers are 12-8 on the season. Carolyn Dormady and Camille Sherrill have been a dominant 1-2 punch at 3.65 and 3.34 kills per set, respectively.

About St. Thomas: St. Thomas held off McMurry in five sets when the teams met in Houston last month. The Celts have lost their last four matches and play at Dallas on Saturday. Audrey Cataline leads the team with 2.99 kills per set.
