The War Hawks visit the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, at 5 p.m. on Friday before visiting Centenary in Shreveport at noon on Sunday.

Big Game Hunting: McMurry picked up an important win last week, beating St. Thomas, but needs a few more. Ozarks and Centenary are both 2-3 in the league and a pair of wins could vault the War Hawks into the upper half of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference standings.

Beating UST: The War Hawks got their initial SCAC win over St. Thomas, 2-1, with goals by
Arik Phillips and
Anthony Licea.
Brandon Walker was huge in goal, collecting nine saves.

Better Late Than Never: Each of McMurry's three wins this season have been punctuated by goals in the last minutes.
Jovani Burnett scored with three seconds left in the win over Lyon;
Nick Munoz scored in the 80
th minute in the win over Dallas; and
Anthony Licea got the game-winner in the 89
th minute against St. Thomas.

Pedro Yanez adding eight each. Licea also leads the team with six shots on goal, followed by Phillips and
Nick Munoz with five apiece.

Saves: Brandon Walker leads McM with 56 saves this season. He has a 70 percent save percentage and one shutout.

History: Ozarks leads the series with McMurry 1-11-2. The win was in Abilene in 2018, 1-0. Ozarks won in Clarksville last season, 4-0. Centenary is 1-0-2 in the series, including a 1-1 tie last season in Shreveport.

About Ozarks: Ozarks is 5-6-2 overall and 2-3 in the league after a 2-1 win at Austin College on Sunday. Giovanni Casias leads the team with three goals and Brock Bernard has seven points on two goals and three assists.

About Centenary: The Gents are 6-5-1 overall and 2-3 in the SCAC after a 3-1 win at the University of Dallas on Sunday. Centenary hosts Concordia on Friday. Nathan Uduojie leads the Gents with five goals and 12 points. Emiliano Mondragon has a team-high five assists.
