Dylan Lee (Hutto, Texas) each gathered two hits in the third game of an American Southwest Conference weekend series Saturday, April 22.
Hood was two-for-four at the dish, while Lee wound up two-for-three for head coach
Josh Lee's squad at Concordia University's Tornado Field. Junior shortstop
Blake Beach (Atascocita. Texas) added a run scored and hit, as sophomore first baseman
Dylan Abbott (San Angelo, Texas) had similar numbers. The quartet topped a two-run, eight-hit offensive story.
The host Tornados registered a high-flying scoreboard resume over 14 innings, featuring five frames of two-or-more tallies. CU used a 10-run third in the opener toward a 16-0, seven-inning victory. The nightcap was more of the same, as the hosts plated eight runs over the first two innings to claim a 12-2, seven-inning win.
