Box Score McMurry University set the three-point line on fire in a 94-79 win over Schreiner University Friday, Nov. 10, in Kimbrell Arena.

Coach Drew Long's team was a whopping 18 of 34 from long distance with junior guard/forward Emily Holland (Mansfield, Texas) responsible for half of them. She made 9 of 16 three's enroute to a sizzling 35- point night that also included being 4 of 4 from the free-throw line. On Wednesday against Arlington Baptist, Holland had 24 points in McMurry's season-opening win.

Other high scorers in Friday's game were sophomore guard Kylie Flippin (Wichita Falls, Texas) with 18 points, including 5 of 10 three's, and sophomore forward/center Aryana Cleveland (San Antonio, Texas) with 17 points. Cleveland finished with 10 of the team's 30 rebounds, while junior post Katie Hale (Decatur, Texas) and Holland contributed six each. The team had 21 defensive rebounds. Hale and Chadwick tied for the team lead in assists with six apiece. Holland had three of McMurry's six steals.

Not only were the Lady War Hawks dominant from long distance, but they were also almost flawless at the charity stripe, making 14 of 16.

McMurry's biggest lead was 18 points at the 6:12 mark in the fourth quarter.It led for over 34 minutes.

McMurry, 2-0, plays on the road Nov. 15 at 5:30 p.m. at University of Dallas in Irving and will be back home Nov. 18 to host Southwestern University at 5:30 p.m. in Kimbrell Arena
