ABILENE, Texas – Due to COVID-19 protocols, Concordia University Texas announced that Thursday's American Southwest Conference volleyball match at McMurry University has been canceled.

This would have been the final regular season match for both teams. No plans have been made to reschedule.

Regardless, both teams have qualified for the ASC Championship Tournament, which will take place on Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10. The top seed in the ASC West Division will host the tournament.

The Tornados are second in the ASC West standings with an 8-2 record (.800), while the War Hawks are in third place at 12-4 (.750). Mary Hardin-Baylor currently leads the West with a 12-2 record (.857).

The War Hawks are receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 Poll, while UMHB ranks in the No. 9 spot.
