Claire Hillyer went toe-to-toe with TU's Megan Flores in the No. 1 singles match for the War Hawks, falling just short in the first set 7-5. With momentum in hand, Flores would go on to secure the win for Trinity with a 6-1 third set.Â
Despite a 8-5 loss in the No. 2 doubles matchup against the Patriot's Sarah Castleberry and Adriana Carpenter, freshmen tandem
Jasmin Klassen and
Hannah DeFriend fought hard in the tough bout before sucumbing to Castleberry and Carpenter in the end.Â
