LONGVIEW, Texas – McMurry University Volleyball returned to action for the first time in nearly two weeks, falling to LeTourneau in three sets on Friday in Longview.
McMurry falls to 4-6 overall and now have a 2-5 record in conference play – including two forfeited matches due to COVID-19 cancelations. LeTourneau improves to 9-5 overall and 4-3 in the American Southwest Conference.
LeTourneau had 43 kills and just four errors on 8 attacks for a .459 hitting percentage. McMurry finished with 21 kills and 16 errors on 95 attempts.
Kaylie Vasil led the War Hawks with seven kills, while
Adile Leal added 14 digs and
Myranda Salcedo had 10 assists.
The War Hawks look to find their rhythm tomorrow as they face UT Dallas at 2 p.m. in Richardson.
