ABILENE, Texas – McMurry University Women's Tennis suffered its first loss of the season Saturday, falling to NCAA II foe Dallas Baptist, 7-0, at the Seidel-Swagerty Tennis Center.

The War Hawks were swept in doubles play, with the Patriots claiming the point for the early lead.

McMurry was unable to win a set in singles play, but competed hard against some of the toughest competition it will face this season.

Freshman Mandy Roberson battled at number five singles, but fell 6-3, 6-3.

The War Hawks are back in action next weekend with trips to Texas Lutheran and Schreiner. First serve against TLU is set for 2 p.m. Friday.
