SHERMAN, Texas – McMurry University Men's Tennis dropped its match at Austin College Friday evening, falling to the Kangaroos, 7-2.

Carlos Martinez and Chase Daniell picked up another win at number one doubles, topping the top squad from the 'Roos, 8-4. At number three, Chris Causer and Joseph Diaz were defeated by the same 8-4 margin.

In singles play, Martinez won his fourth straight match at number one, 6-1, 7-6. At number six singles, Zach Miller won set one, 6-2, but was unable to complete the victory, dropping sets two and three, 6-1 and 10-7.

McMurry is back in action today at 3 p.m. at Texas Lutheran.
