ABILENE, Texas – Both the McMurry University Men's and Women's Basketball teams will be making their first appearances in the American Southwest Conference Tournament for the first time since 2012.

Each team clinched a berth with wins over Sul Ross State a week ago, and now both will take on UT Dallas in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Though the Comets won the regular season meetings with the War Hawks, both teams have played well down the stretch as they begin a new season in postseason play.

ASC WOMEN'S TOURNAMENT

Where: University of Mary Hardin-Baylor – Belton, Texas

Matchup: W4 McMurry (8-17, 5-11 ASC) vs E1 UT Dallas (21-4, 14-2 ASC)

When: Thursday, February 21 – 2:30 p.m.            Semifinals – Friday               Championship – Saturday

Tickets:  Tournament Pass $20, Day Pass $10, Students $5 daily

Where: University of Texas at Dallas – Richardson, Texas

Matchup: W4 McMurry (10-15, 7-9 ASC) vs E1 UT Dallas (21-4, 13-3 ASC)

When: Thursday, February 21 – 7:30 p.m.            Semifinals – Friday               Championship – Saturday           

Tickets: Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Children under 2 will be admitted free of charge. CASH ONLY.
