ABILENE, Texas – McMurry University Volleyball will host its Senior Night Friday, as the War Hawks host Sul Ross State University in the regular season finale inside Kimbrell Arena at 7 p.m.
The team will honor its seniors with a presentation prior to first serve. Live stats and video links will also be available at mcmurrysports.com.
NOTES:
LAST WEEK: The War Hawks dropped a pair of tough road matches at Concordia Texas and Mary Hardin-Baylor over the weekend, but bounced back with a sweep Tuesday night over visiting Howard Payne.
WIN AND IN: McMurry can clinch the final spot in the American Southwest Conference Tournament with a win against the Lobos Friday. McM is currently tied with East Texas Baptist with a 7-7 ASC record, but a win will put them a half-game ahead. Due to the unbalanced divisions, McM plays one more conference game than ETBU.
.341: The career attack percentage of senior right side hitter Justice McGowan. McGowan is the McM career leader for attack percentage, ahead of Linday Llewellyn, who hit .316 for her career.

PREVIOUS MEETING: The War Hawks swept the Lobos in their first meeting of the year October 5 in Alpine, Texas.
SCOUTING SRSU: Sul Ross enters the final week of the regular season on a three-game winning streak and is 11-12, 4-9 ASC. The Lobos have one of the top players in the conference, as Annika Canaba is in the top 10 in hitting percentage, kills and points. Canaba also averages more than two digs and three assists per set for the Lobos, as well.
