ABILENE, Texas – It's another big week for McMurry University Volleyball, as it sees the War Hawis head out on the road for four matches. McMurry begins the week Tuesday by visiting University of Mary Hardin-Baylor at 6 p.m. before heading to the second American Southwest Conference Crossover Friday and Saturday.
At the crossover, hosted by UT-Dallas, the War Hawks will play three matches over the two-day period. They have one match Friday at 5 p.m. against the host Comets, while playing at noon Saturday against Belhaven University and at 4 p.m. versus Louisiana College.

NOTES:
Last Week: The War Hawks suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Concordia Texas before bouncing back with home sweeps over Howard Payne University and Sul Ross State University.
Break out the brooms: Of the 17 victories this season, 11 have come via the sweep.
Statistically ranked: McMurry has allowed just a .099 opponent hitting percentage, which ranks tied for 16th nationally. That mark leads the ASC for overall matches.
ASC Crossover: The War Hawks went 2-1 at the first crossover of the year, defeating East Texas Baptist and LeTourneau before falling in five sets to UT-Tyler.
Road Warriors: McMurry has been stellar way from home this season, and will play their next five matches on the road or on a neutral court, including four ASC matches this week. The War Hawks are 5-0 away and 8-1 on a neutral court this year.
Record Watch: Senior libero Odalis Rodriguez needs 36 digs to move into second place on the career digs list.
About UMHB: The War Hawks will try to avenge a three-set loss to the Crusaders on September 25. UMHB currently sits atop the ASC West Division at 10-0 and is on a 13 match winning streak. They were ranked 25th in the latest AVCA poll.
About UT-Dallas: The Comets were receiving votes in the latest AVCA poll and lead the ASC East Division at 7-1. The Comets lead the ASC in kills per set in conference only matches, led by junior outside hitter Jillian Via at 3.08 per set.
About Belhaven: Belhaven is 10-9, 2-7 ASC this season. Only three of those wins have come against NCAA III opponents. Sophomore libero Sydney McEachern leads the ASC in digs with 5.25 per set in conference matches.
About Louisiana: The Wildcats are just 4-14, 2-7 ASC in 2018 and currently on a five match losing streak. In ASC play, junior outside hitter Paola Salas Adorno ranks second in kills at 3.42 per set and sophomore libero Olivia Huval ranks second in digs at 4.46 per set.
