ABILENE, Texas – McMurry University Men's Soccer looks to end its two-game losing streak this weekm when the War Hawks take on the University of Texas at Dallas Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Howard Payne University Saturday at 8 p.m.at Wilford Moore Stadium in American Southwest Conference action.

Last Week: McMurry lost a pair of one goal matches, falling 1-0 at both Belhaven University and Louisiana College.
One goal matches: McMurry's last three matches have all been decided by one goal. For the season, five matches have been decided by one goal.
Stingy defense: In ASC play, McMurry ranks fourth in goals allowed. Sophomore goalkeeper Aidan Keane ranks second in goals against at 0.67 and is also second in save percentage at .846. Junior goalkeeper Francisco Avilez ranks fifth in goals allowed average at 1.24.
ASC Standings: McMurry is currently tied for sixth in the ASC with East Texas Baptist University with a record of 2-3-1.
About UT Dallas: The Comets lead the ASC at 6-0, and are 8-1-1 on the year. UT Dallas is receiving votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll. Freshman forward Jovi Munoz leads the Comets with nine goals.
About Howard Payne: HPU enters this week at 3-6, 2-4 ASC. The all-time series is knotted up at 3-3-3 after a 2-1 War Hawks victory last season. Senior midfielder Michael Westerman paces the Yellow Jacket offense with four goals.
