McM Women's Soccer Downed by Dallas

 
ABILENE, Texas – McMurry University women's soccer lost a home match to the University of Texas at Dallas, 7-0, at Wilford Moore Stadium.
 
The Comets (6-4, 3-2 ASC) tallied three goals in the first half and added for in the second in defeating the host War Hawks (1-9, 1-5 ASC).  UTD out-shot McMurry by a 35-3 margin for the match, putting 19 shots on goal.
 
McM freshman goalkeeper Jordan Gregory had 12 saves in going the distance versus the Comets.
 
UTD's leading scorer, Megan Mugavero, added to her season totals with a hat trick. Mugavero tallied in the 17th, 56th and 62nd minutes.
 
Bailey Phelps had two of McMurry's three shots and Frances Narvaez had the other.  Both players came off of the bench for the War Hawks.
 
The War Hawks will have a two-game road trip next weekend, traveling to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Friday and Concordia University-Texas on Saturday.
