HOBBS, N.M. - McMurry University's women's soccer team allowed one goal in each half in suffering a 2-0 road loss at the University of the Southwest.
The setback dropped the War Hawks to 1-2 on the season.
The Mustangs' goals came from Sandra Gomez in the 20th minute and Nicola Daingle in the 64th minute. USW out-shot McM by a margin of 26-5 for the afternoon.

Alexa Ledesma Bear and
Joshlyn Causey all had a shot attempt for the War Hawks. Gomez took six of USW's shots.
McMurry will try to get back in the win column on Sept. 17 (5 p.m.) at UT-Tyler.
