RICHARDSON, Texas – McMurry University women's soccer found itself out-gunned by a seasoned University of Texas-Dallas team, falling 10-0. The Comets improved to 7-4, while the War Hawks are now 2-5-1.
UTD led 7-0 in the first half and then added three more second-half goals. The Comets scored their first goal in the eighth minute of play, then exploded for three goals between the 12th and 14th minutes. UTD goals in the 23rd, 28th and 40th minutes accounted for the halftime cushion.
The Comets outshot McM by a margin of 37-9, 20 on-goal for the hosts and four for the War Hawks in the match.

Simone Heinle had 10 saves, but was charged with the 10 goals. Two UTD net-minders combined for four saves.
Cristen Lumbreras had two of McM's eight shot attempts.
