Box Score BELTON, Texas – McMurry University men's soccer team lost for the first time this season, falling at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, 2-0. The War Hawks are now 1-1 on the year.
 
UMHB out-shot the War Hawks by a 6-2 margin. The Cru scored goals in the 31st and 74th minutes.
 
McM goalkeeper Ian McCarthy gave up both goals and had four saves.
 
Both of McMurry's shots – one each by Jacob Howdeschell and Cody Gentry – were directly on goal.
 
McM returns to action next Saturday (Sept. 13/7 p.m.) when it hosts Hardin-Simmons University.
