ABILENE, Texas – Less than 24 hours after McMurry University women's soccer had a record-setting win over Jarvis Christian College, it scored another win, 2-0, to complete the back-to-back series sweep at Wilford Moore Stadium. The War Hawks (5-2) won all three matches against the Bulldogs (0-7) this season.
Combined with yesterday's 8-0 win, McM out-shot Jarvis by a combined 61-3 in the two matches and out-scored the Bulldogs, 10-0.
Both of McMurry's goals came off the foot of
Aleria Luna, who owned JCC. On Tuesday, Luna took a took 12 of McM's 21 shot attempts, putting eight on-goal. Luna's first goal of the afternoon came in the 9th minute of play.

That 1-0 score stood up for the duration of the first half, as Jarvis goalie Jessica Chab had four first-half saves. Chab would finish the day with 10 saves, overall.
It was not until the 57:43 juncture that Luna gave her team some breathing room, rocketing in a ball from 25 yards out to make it 2-0.
