War Hawks Win Streak Reaches Four

Box Score ABILENE, Texas – McMurry volleyball extended its winning streak to four matches, defeating Jarvis Christian College, 3-0, at Kimbrell Arena. The War Hawks (10-5) defeated the Bulldogs (2-10) by match scores of 25-13, 25-14, 25-14.
 
McM has not lost a set during its win skein, as well.
 
Junior Catherine Heath had 11 kills to lead all attackers. Heath also had three blocks to her credit.
 
Teammate Kelsey Harkins added seven kills for McMurry. She was also credited with three of the War Hawks' seven service aces in the match. Harkins also hit for a .316 attack percentage.
 
Senior Kayla Hines had five kills and four digs. Sophomore Katy Headrick did a little bit of everything for the McM team, booking three kills, two aces, five digs and three blocks. Back row player Jessica Cory paced either team with 12 digs.
 
Morgan Thomas' 13 assists also topped the setters. Thomas also dealt the Bulldogs a pair of aces.
 
McMurry will be on the court again on Saturday (3 p.m.), facing Howard Payne University at Kimbrell Arena.
