ABILENE, Texas –McMurry University women's tennis team found itself overwhelmed by the No. 5-ranked Abilene Christian University team, 9-0, at ACU's Eager Tennis Pavilion on Wednesday.
The War Hawks fell to 5-11 on the year with the loss. The Wildcats, also ranked No. 1 in the region, improved to 21-5.
ACU dominated the match, jumping out to a 3-0 score in the team points by sweeping doubles. The Wildcats won all six singles matches in straight sets, losing just six games all day.

Brandy Curry – playing no. 6 singles – was the only War Hawks to take more than one game from an ACU foe, losing 6-3, 6-1.
