Box Score ABILENE, Texas – The McMurry University volleyball team swept the University of the Southwest by scores of 25-12, 25-11 and 25-20 Tuesday evening in a non-conference match at Kimbrell Arena.

In the process the War Hawks (7-10) ended a three-game losing streak.

"It feels great to come out of here with the win," McM head coach Cammie Petree said following the match. "Everyone on the team played tonight and it's great for that to happen on their home court in front of their family and friends."

Peyton Evans (Riverton, Utah/Western Texas College) had a stellar night for the War Hawks. She finished with a team-high nine kills and a .421 hitting percentage. She also helped out with 17 assists and five aces.

"Peyton (Evans) was really on tonight," Petree said. "She's a senior and that's what a senior is supposed to do. Overall, I'm happy for everyone. This is the definition of a team win."
