ABILENE, Texas – The McMurry War Hawks suffered their third-consecutive loss on Sunday, falling to the University of Texas-Dallas, 6-3, at the Seidel-Swagerty Tennis Center. The War Hawks fell to 6-4 overall.

At No. 2 singles, Sonia Del Heirro won a marathon match over UTD's Jean-Jean Gwo. Del Heirro won the first set, 6-2, before falling in the second, 1-6. In the deciding third set, Del Heirro came through with a 6-2 victory.

The War Hawks other singles win came at No. 6 singles, where Autumn Patterson swept past Stephanie Lu, 6-2, 6-4.

McMurry picked up its final team point at third doubles. Hilary Stone and Chelsea Miller outlasted the Comets' tandem of Cindy Tiu and Alisha Lorren, 8-5.
