SEGUIN, Texas – McMurry's women's tennis squad rolled past Texas Lutheran University, 9-0, in an American Southwest Conference road match.

The War Hawks swept all six singles matches in straight sets. The Bulldogs only managed to win more than two games in one of the 12 sets played.

At No. 1 singles, Dana LeMieux defeated Caitlin Zarr, 6-2, 6-0. At No. 2 singles, Sonia Del Hierro topped Ashley Cook, 6-1, 6-4, followed by Lacey Krusmark's win over Jessica Flayer, 6-0, 6-1.

Fourth singles belonged to McM's Brandy Curry, 6-1, 6-0 over Yvonne Castillo. At No. 5, Hilary Stone dominated Katherine Herrmann, 6-1, 6-0. Autumn Patterson closed out McMurry's individual matches with a 6-2, 6-1 win over the Bulldog's Jennifer Koepp.

LeMieux and Stone won at first doubles, 8-2, over Zarr and Flayer. Second doubles belonged to Del Hierro and Curry, 8-0, over Cook and Herrmann. At No. 3 pair's play, Chelsea Miller and Krusmark had no trouble with TLU's Castillo and Koepp, 8-1.
