ABILENE, Texas – McMurry University's women will open their soccer season Tuesday and the men continue their season on the road with both teams facing the University of Houston-Victoria in Boerne. The women will kickoff at 5 p.m. while the War Hawks (0-1) will faceoff with the Jaguars at 7 p.m.

The men lost their season opener to St. Edward's Thursday 4-0 in Austin while UHV is 2-1 with wins against Northwood and Texas Lutheran. The Jaguars compete in the NAIA independently.

The women's team returns six players from last season's team that won two matches for McMurry. The Lady Jaguars are 2-1 on the season with wins over Northwood University and Texas Lutheran.

Both teams will play host to Central Christian College Friday for the teams' home openers with the women kicking off at 3 and the men at 5 p.m.
