American Southwest Conference West Division All-Freshman Team … Appeared in 25 of McM’s 27 games off the bench for head coach Veronica Snow … Averaged 13.9 minutes per appearance … 3.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and1.6 assists per game … Double digit scoring twice, including a season-high 11 points at Schreiner University (2/2/12) … Had six assists, five steals and six points in her collegiate debut versus Southwest Adventist University (11/19/11).


High School:

A graduate of Vega High School (2011) ... Played four seasons for coach Ritchie Tarbet as a point guard  ... As a freshman, was named Newcomer of the Year for her district, a member of the TABC and TSMCA all-region teams, and TBM all-state team ... As a sophomore she was named the Defensive Most Valuable Player of the district, a member of the TABC All-Region team and TSMCA and TBM all-state teams ... Named co-MVP of the district as a junior ... Earned TABC, TSMCA, and TBM all-state honors her junior season, as well ... Named the district MVP and to the TBM all-state team as a senior ...  Named to the All-South Plains team by the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons ... Also ran three seasons of cross-country and track, and earned one varsity letter for golf ... Was class valedictorian at VHS.

Born June 24, 1993 in Amarillo, Texas ... Daughter of Ritchie and Cindy Tarbet ... Father was her prep coach in basketball, cross country and track ... Has volunteered with vacation Bible school and Relay for Life ... Is involved with Delta Beta Epsilon on McM campus ... Majoring in biomedical science ... Plans to go on to medical school ... Aspires to be an orthopedic surgeon.
