Played two seasons at Cisco Junior College … As a sophomore, hit .244 in 90 at-bats … 37 games played … 13 runs … As a freshman, hit .200 in 45 at-bats.

A graduate of Bangs High School (2015) … Coached by Scott Freeman … A four-year letterwinner … Four-time first team all-district selection … All-Big Country … District’s defensive MVP as a senior … Also a member of the BHS powerlifting team, where she was a regional qualifier all four years and reached state as a senior … A member of National Honor Society … Spanish Award and Chemistry Award … Graduated fourth in her class … Participated in FCA and was senior class treasurer.

Born June 8, 1996 in Palestine, Texas … Daughter of Harold Owen III and Karen Owen … Is second oldest among  six siblings (has three sisters and two brothers) … Volunteers as a youth sponsor for church group, as well as with the Salvation Army … Considering a career as either a dental hygienist of veterinarian … A biology major.
