2009-10 (Freshman):

Played in 17 games and started one as a freshman in 2009-10. Averaged 1.2 points per game and scored a season-high six points in a road game against Concordia-Texas Feb. 6.

High School:

Played three seasons for head coach Brad Chasteen at Coppell High School in Coppell. Averaged 12 points, five assists and three steals his senior season on his way to first-team all-district honors. Averaged 13 points, four assists and two steals as a junior and was a first-team all-district selection. Earned honorable mention all-district honors as a sophomore. Also lettered in baseball.

Personal:

2009 graduate of Coppell High School in Coppell. Majoring in Business marketing. Cousin, Alfred Montez played one season in the NFL as a backup quarterback for the Oakland Raiders in 1996. Born 18 June 1990.
