Texas Wesleyan University (Junior):
 
Played one season for Terry Waldrop at Texas Wesleyan University. Averaged 10.52 points per game scoring 347 points over 33 games for the Rams as a junior and helped the team win the RRAC Conference title with a 21-1 record. Hill’s team advanced to the NAIA?National Tournament.

Jacksonville College (Freshman & Sophomore):

Played for head coach Cinco Boone for two seasons helping his team reach the conference tournament both seasons. Averaged 14 points and four rebounds and was an honorable-mention all-conference selection as a sophomore.
 
High School:
 
Played for current McMurry head coach J.D. Isler at Clovis High School in Clovis N.M. Earned first team all-district honors as a senior. Set records for most 3-pointers made for the county and state in New Mexico. Played with
current McMurry teammate Jaden Isler.
