Biography
2009-2010 Season (Junior):
Ranked 18th in the American Southwest Conference in scoring (11.8 ppg), 16th in the league in rebounding (6.3 rpg) and second in the ASC in blocked shots (2.2 bpg) to help her earn second-team all-ASC West Division honors. Played and started in all 28 games averaging 21.5 minutes per game. Second on the team with 329 points. Shot 70 percent from the free-throw line (103-147) and 43 percent from the floor (113-262). Scored in double figures in 18 of 28 games including seven-straight games from Jan. 30 to Feb. 18. Scored a season-high 21 points in Brownwood against Howard Payne Jan. 23, 2010. Pulled down double-digit rebounds in four contests and had a season-high 12 against the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Ark. Dec. 18, 2009. Blocked a career-high seven shots in the ASC title game against Louisiana College in Pineville, La. Feb. 28, 2010.
2008-2009 Season (Sophomore):
Named the American Southwest Conference West Division Newcomer of the Year and was a second-team all-ASC West Selection. She averaged 13.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game. Shot 43 percent from the floor and 83 percent from the free-throw line. Scored a season-high 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a road-loss to Concordia-Texas Jan. 31. Pulled down a season-high 17 rebounds Jan. 15 against Texas Lutheran. Recorded four double-doubles. Scored in double figures in 19 of 26 games.
2006-07 Season (West Texas A&M - Freshman):
Played in nine games for NCAA Division II West Texas A&M in Canyon her freshman season.
High School:
Played four years for Prosper High School in Prosper for head coach Tommy Hill. Her senior season, she averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks on her way to District MVP honors. She was named first-team all-district and first-team all-region. Her junior season she helped the team to the region title game. Also lettered in track.
Personal:
2007 graduate of Prosper High School in Prosper. Stepmother, Karen Kinsella, played college basketball at Elmhurst College in Illinois and was inducted into the school’s athletic hall of fame in 1992. Born 09 May 1989.
