Biography
Johnson currently owns three individual school records: the 100 fly (58.02), 200 fly (2:12.00) and the 400 individual medley (5:05.30). She is also a member of the record holding 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:42.15.
2010-11 Season (Junior):
Named to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America honorable mention Scholar all-American for her performance in the classroom and in the pool. Won a Liberal Arts Conference championship in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 58.08.
2009-10 Season (Sophomore):
Named to the independent all-conference teams for the 100 and 200 fly. Won the 200 fly at the Liberal Arts Conference championship. A member of the 200-yard medley relay team that placed 2nd at the LAC championship.
2008-09 Season (Freshman):
Won the 100 fly with a meet record of 59.13 at the LAC championship.
High School:
Swam for Coach Bassie at Ingram Tom Moore High School in Kerrville. Also lettered in track and cross-country. Was named to both the track and cross-country all-district teams all four years of high school. Was named all-region cross-country all four years of high school and all state her senior year.
Personal:
2008 graduate of Ingram Tom Moore High School in Kerrville. Early Childhood Education major she someday hopes to become a kindergarten teacher. Her sister Ainsly Johnson is a freshman swimmer at McMurry.
