McMurry University Athletics

Returns for her senior season and should see significant playing time at the point guard position. 

2007-08 season:    Played in all 30 games and averaged 4.4 points, a team-high 4.1 assists and 2.5 rebounds per contest.  Dished out a team-high 123 assists for the year.  Averaged twenty minutes per contest, shot 40 percent from the floor and 65 percent from the free throw line. 

Before McMurry:  Transferred from Kilgore Junior College and played one season at point guard in 2005-2006. She was named the scholar athlete of the year at Kilgore as a freshman.

High School: Played four seasons for head coach Tommy Baxter at Fairfield High School. She was named first team all-state in each of her final two seasons and was also an academic all-state selection. She was her team’s MVP three times. Helped her team to the regional finals in 2003 and the team finished with a 28-3 record; that was the farthest the team had ever reached in the playoffs in school history. Also lettered in cross country and track. 

Personal: 2004 graduate of Fairfield High School in Fairfield. Born 28 Nov. 1985.  All-level physical education major.
