Biography
Strong post player with a big body that should make his rebounding presence known in the American Southwest Conference. Before McMurry: Played the 2006-07 season for coach Fred Rike at NCAA Division II Angelo State University. Before Angelo State, Johnson spent two years playing for coach Francis Flax at Brown Mackie Junior College in Celina, Kan. His first year at Brown Mackie (2004-05 season), Johnson was part of the 35-1 squad that won a junior college national championship. Originally signed with NCAA Division I McNeese State after he concluded play at Brown Mackie. Personal: Born 25 Nov. 1982 in Pasadena, Calif. Johnson is a native of Alachua, Fla.
