War Hawks Fall to Centenary in SCAC Tournament Elimination Game

Austin, TX - The McMurry War Hawks took on Centenary College at Roberts Family Field in Austin, Texas for an elimination round game for the SCAC Softball Conference Championships.

McMurry scored first in the bottom of the 2nd inning when Aliyah Tanguma hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Maya Mongelli.  

From there Centenary's offense turned on the War Hawks scoring five runs in the top of the third and another run in the top of the seventh inning bringing the final score to 6-1.

The loss ends the War Hawks season with a 16-19 overall record and a 14-15 conference record.
