Â
Holland scored in the 64
th minute, getting the game-winner on an assist from
Cate Tempelmeyer. Her sixth goal of the season was in the 89
th minute, using a feed from
Jaelynn Portillo.
Â
Wayland Baptist had 10 shots, including one of the post, but
Nana Torres and
Lauren Marlow were equal to the task in goal. Torres had two saves and Marlow added another.
Â
"They had one great opportunity but besides that, we were pretty solid defensively," said Nobles. "We'll continue learning from the little mistakes and we will get better."
