ABILENE – McMurry Women's Soccer plays two home conference matches this week beginning Tuesday with a 7 p.m. contest against Concordia.
 
The War Hawks also host St. Thomas on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
 
McMurry Storylines
 
Even Up: The War Hawks pulled up to .500 both overall (5-5) and in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (1-1) matches with a 1-0 win at Schreiner on Sunday. The win ended a four-game road swing.
 
Holland Leading: Emily Holland leads the SCAC with three game-winning goals, 0.60 goals per game, six total goals and 4.2 shots per game.
 
Last Game: McMurry got a goal from Cienna Rodriguez late in the first half at Schreiner and the defense made that stand up for a 1-0 win.
 
Eleven on the Board: McMurry has 16 goals this season by 11 players. Holland leads with six while Haylie Blakley, Jaelynn Portillo, McKenna Standifer, Cate Tempelmeyer, Hailey Donaldson, Hailey Graham, Brooklyn Grove, Rodriguez, Grace Singleton and Kaylee Worth have one each.
 
Nine for Assistance: Nine War Hawks have registered 10 assists this season, led by Blakley with two. Holland, Portillo, Standifer, Tempelmeyer, Laila Brown, Emery Kirby, Alexis Lira and Ava Ybarra each have one.
 
Keeps: Avery Anders got her first shutout of the season on Sunday. Kaitlyn Gustafson has one as well and leads the team with 23 saves.
 
About Concordia: Concordia is 3-6-1 on the season and 1-1 in league play after a 1-0 loss at home against Trinity on Sunday. Emma Payne leads the team with four goals and Audrey Frost has two assists.
 
About St. Thomas: St. Thomas is 5-1-2 overall and 1-0 in the SCAC after a 2-0 win at Centenary on Friday. The Celts host Ozarks on Friday. Fernanda Alvarado leads the team with three goals. Astrid Mencia and Ashlee Stoltje have two assists apiece. Kylie Soich has a 0.73 goals allowed average to go with 38 saves in goal this season.
