ABILENE, Texas – McMurry University Women's Soccer hits the road for a pair of American Southwest Conference matchups this week as they look for their first ASC win of the season. Thursday sees the War Hawks visit LeTourneau University at 5 p.m. before traveling to East Texas Baptist University Saturday at 5 p.m.

Last Week: The War Hawks dropped two one run games last week, falling 2-1 to Sul Ross State University in the ASC opener followed by a 3-2 nonconference loss to Southwestern Assemblies of God University.

Balanced attack: 11 different War Hawks have scored goals this season.

Amongst the Leaders: The War Hawks are in the top four of multiple ASC offensive statistics including: points, goals, goals per game, assists, and assists per game.

Career firsts: Three War Hawks scored their first career goals last week: sophomore forward Julia Renfrow, sophomore forward Courtney Kendrick, and freshman midfielder Ashland Hansen. Others who have scored their first career goals this season include: sophomore midfielder Sky Reynolds, freshman defender Kate Holland, freshman midfielder Tagan Hansen, and sophomore forward Kaitlyn Roberts.

About LeTourneau: The Yellowjackets are 5-1-1, 1-1-0 ASC on the season. They defeated the War Hawks in a nonconference matchup September 1, 4-0.

About East Texas Baptist: The Tigers are 2-3-1, 0-2-0 ASC in 2018. The War Hawks look to defeat the Tigers for the first time in series history.
