Women's Hoops Drops Close Game to TAMU-Kingsville, 60-58

Box Score SAN ANTONIO, Texas – McMurry University's women's basketball team suffered a tough loss in its second game of the St. Mary's Classic, falling to Texas A&M University-Kingsville, 60-58. The contest featured six ties and 12 lead changes.

Senior Keshia Collins led all scorers with 17 points. She also grabbed seven rebounds and had three steals.

Sierra Maykus contributed 13 points, draining three shots from beyond the arc. Adijatu Disu added 10 points and pulled down six boards.

McM sophomore Ana Dominguez topped al rebounders by hauling in eight caroms. She also tallied six points. As a team, the War Hawks won the battle of the boards by a 45-37 margin.

As a team, McMurry shot 42.6 percent from the field (23-54) and 9-of-18 free throws.
