RICHARDSON, Texas – McMurry University women soccer drops its third American Southwest Conference match of the season in a 6-0 loss to Texas-Dallas Saturday afternoon. Leah Bowyer recorded a hat trick for UTD on their way to the win.
The War Hawks were outshot 48-4 on the day and was unable to land a single shot on goal. McMurry goalies Makenzie Hargrove and Biancan Van Osdol saved 17 shots combined on the afternoon.
McMurry held the Comets to only one goal in the first half when Bowyer scored her first of three goals in the 26th minute. Bowyer added goals in the 57th and 60th minutes of the match. She also recorded one assist in the 81st minute with the goal coming from Kelly Fields. Ebonie Udenze and Andrea Guevara each added goals for UTD in the 62nd and 84th minutes of the contest

Rachel Moore recorded three of McMurry's four shots.
Kristen Grant added the fourth.
The loss takes McMurry to 2-5 on the year and 1-3 in ASC play. The win moves UTD to 5-3 on the season and 3-1 in ASC action. McMurry returns home to face Louisiana College and Mississippi College Friday and Saturday 2 p.m. at Edwards Field.
