The first of the three came from the top of the box at the 11:42 mark of the contest. Her second coming off of a stolen McMurry pass past a diving War Hawk goalie, Bianca Van Osdol, at the 12:49 mark and the third at the 21:26 mark off a pass from teammate Lena New.

For McMurry freshman Grant the goal coming in the 85th minute of the contest was her first collegiate career goal. She took a pass from fellow freshman Paige Harwell and chipped the goalie from 20 yards out. Grant took three shots on the day landing all of them on goal.
