SOUTH PARDRE ISLAND, Texas -- The McMurry women's basketball team is set to begin play in the South Padre Island Shootout as they take on Peace College at 3 p.m. on Friday. 

McMurry enters the tournament with a 4-2 record on the year.  McMurry is looking to get back to its winning ways as they most recently endured a setback against Hardin-Simmons last Monday.

Peace College, a women's college located in Raleigh, North Carolina, is also 4-2 on the year.  The Pacers compete in the USA South Athletic Conference, which is an NCAA Division III conference.
